Day 1: Arrival in Colombo / Negombo

Arrival in Colombo: Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to Negombo, which is about a 30-minute drive.
Negombo: A relaxing day by the beach. You can enjoy a romantic walk along the sandy beaches or visit the Negombo Lagoon for a boat ride. Explore the local fishing village and visit the St. Mary’s Church.
Overnight stay in Negombo: Choose a beachfront resort for a romantic evening.

Morning: After breakfast, depart for Kandy, which takes about 3 hours.
Kandy: Once you arrive, explore the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, an important pilgrimage site. Take a romantic stroll around Kandy Lake and visit the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.
Cultural Show: Enjoy a cultural dance show in the evening.
Overnight stay in Kandy: Choose a luxury hotel with a view of the hills, like The Kandy House or Earl’s Regency Hotel.

Morning: After breakfast, leave Kandy and head to Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England” due to its colonial charm (around a 2.5-3 hour drive).
Nuwara Eliya: Explore the stunning Gregory Lake, visit the beautiful Hakgala Gardens, and stroll through the Nuwara Eliya Town with its British colonial-era buildings. You could also visit a tea plantation and factory to experience the tea-making process.
Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya: Enjoy a stay in a cozy hilltop resort like the Heritance Tea Factory or The Grand Hotel.

Morning: After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey to Bentota, which will take approximately 5-6 hours by car. This is a longer stretch, so you may opt for a scenic train journey or break up the travel with a stop in Ambalangoda for a quick look at some traditional masks or the Turtle Hatchery.
Bentota: Enjoy your first afternoon on the beautiful beaches of Bentota. You can relax on the beach or take part in water sports activities like jet-skiing, windsurfing, or a river safari on the Bentota River.
Overnight stay in Bentota: Stay at a luxurious beachfront resort like the Vivanta Bentota or Cinnamon Bey Bentota for a romantic, peaceful evening.

Morning: Spend your day relaxing at the beach or enjoy a spa treatment at one of the luxury resorts.
Optional: You can also visit the nearby Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery or explore the Brief Garden, which is an excellent spot for nature lovers.
Overnight stay in Bentota: Enjoy another romantic night by the sea.

Morning: After breakfast, you can head back to Colombo (around 1.5 hours’ drive from Bentota) for last-minute shopping and sightseeing.
Colombo: Visit the Galle Face Green, Gangaramaya Temple, and take a walk around the Colombo Fort area before heading to the airport for your departure.
